Test Description
Greenbiome Perio & Denti analyzes the microbiome in our mouth to evaluate the risk of major oral diseases, dental caries and periodontitis to provide personalized lifestyle solution for oral health management.
- The Greenbiome Perio&Denti Kit will be provided.
- This test is for screening purpose, it is not a diagnostic test.

Sample collection method
- After waking up in the morning, before brushing or at least 1 hour after brushing Recommended
- Wipe the entire tooth and between the gums with a cotton swab for at least 30 seconds
- If you have tooth decay or periodontitis, focus on collecting the affected area (especially plaque). It is recommended that samples be refrigerated.
☑️ Recommend Sampling in the morning before brushing your teeth or 1 hour after brushing your teeth.
⚠️ Left over foods in the mouth (especially chocolate) may affect the test result
⚠️ When taking this test regularly, try to take the sample on similar time of the day
⚠️ If you have dental cavity or periodontitis already, try to swab the affected area.

Assay information
- Periodontitis-related bateria (10 types): Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomtfans, Porphyromonas gingivalis, Tannerella forsythia, Treponema denticola, Prevotella intermedia, Fusobacterium nucleatum, Parvimonas micra, Filifactor alocis, Porphyromonas endodontalis, Treponema socranskii
- Cavity-related bacteria (7 types): Cavity-Causing Bacteria: Streptococcus mutans, Streptococcus sobrinus, Actinomyces gerencseriae, Scardovia wiggsiae, Veillonella parvula, Candida albicans
- Cavity-inhibitory Bacteria: Streptococcus sanguinis
Result
The test results will be provided according to the designated TAT. Review the sample report to see how the results are structured.
Limitations
- The disease-related microbial index in greenbiome is calculated by only considering the effects of the oral microbes included in the test.
- Values may vary with the addition of new research results.
- It should be taken into account that factors other than oral microbes, such as lifestyle, genetics, and the environment, may affect the risk and onset of the disease.
- It has not been cleared or approved by the Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS).
